Peach Mojito
Something about fresh mint, peaches, rum, and a nice bubble make a great twist to a old classic.
Ingredients
Serving size: one delicious drink
- 2 oz of rum dark or light whichever you prefer. I am more of a fan of light, such as Plantation Rum
- 1/2 of a peach, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 of a lime, juiced
- 2-4 fresh mint leaves plus 1-2 for garnish
- 1/2 oz of organic agave
- 4 oz Topo Chico
- 2 oz of rum dark or light whichever you prefer. I am more of a fan of light, such as Plantation Rum
Directions
- In a shaker glass, combine 1/2 peach, lime juice, 1/2 oz of agave, and 2-4 mint leaves (all depends on your preference of how strong of a mint flavor you want.) Then muddle everything together, the peaches will almost look like you pureed them after you are done.
- Add ice and shake until cold.
- Strain over fresh ice using a fine mesh strainer to eliminate the pulp then add 4 oz of Topo Chico. Give it a good stir and add a few leaves on top for garnish.
- Enjoy!
