Roasted Brussel Sprouts

I am always trying to come up with new ways to jazz up vegetables. These roasted brussel sprouts are so good that I even eat them left over cold right out of the fridge!

    Cook Time: 30-40 mins

    Cooking Method: Oven

    Cooking Temp: 400 Degrees

  • Ingredients

    • 1 Package brussel sprouts 
    • 2-4 TBS olive oil 
    • 2-3 tsp sea salt 
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp steak rub 
    • 3 slices thick cut bacon 
    • 2 TBS balsamic vinegar 
  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400° F and cut brussel sprouts into halves.
    2. Toss brussel sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and steak rub.
    3. Spread brussel sprouts onto a baking sheet pan.
    4. Cut bacon into pieces and sprinkle over brussel sprouts.
    5. Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes until tender. 
    6. Add additional salt and rub after tasting if desired.
