Verde Salsa - Tomatillo
Tomatillo salsa is so easy and delcious you can store it in your fridge and serve with chips, fajitas, quesdillas, make green enchiladas the possibilties are endless!

Ingredients
- 3 lbs of tomatillos
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 bunch of cliantro
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 serrano pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp of sea salt, if needed add more
- 3 lbs of tomatillos
Directions
- After peeled off ouside of the tomitillo, place them in a pot with water just covering them. Also throw in a serrano pepper. Bring to a boil and cook until the tomitillos are a pale green color.
- Using thongs place the tomitillos into a blender along with cilantro, garlic, onion, salt, lime juice. Now you can blend with the whole serrano pepper if you like it spicy or I cut it in half so the kids can enjoy as well.
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
- Place back into pot and simmer for 5 minutes. Tasting to see if it needs more salt. Serve warm or cold.
